As previously reported, on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at approximately 9:00 a.m. the Chatham-Kent Police Service received a report of deceased person in the Thames River near the 5th Street Bridge in the downtown Chatham area.
The deceased female has been identified as Jazmin Dawson, 17 years, of Chatham.
A post-mortem has been completed and investigators are treating this death as non-suspicious.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service offer their deepest condolences to the family and friends of Ms. Dawson.
