(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County detachment has now received confirmation that the 8 foot fibreglass chicken stolen from a Brantford Road, Windham Township, Norfolk County address has been located.
On Tuesday March 6th, 2011 at approximately 8:00 pm Norfolk County OPP was notified by Halton Regional Police that the stolen chicken has been located at a Milton, ON address. A person is facing a charge of Possession of Stolen Property.
The chicken’s owner has been notified of the recovery and will be making arrangements to have it returned home.
Sometime between the evening hours of Thursday March 1st, 2012 and the early morning hours of Friday March 2nd, 2012 suspect(s) attended the area chicken farm and removed the ornamental chicken from the property leaving behind its legs.
The chicken is 8 feet tall, white and yellow with a red comb and is valued at $3,000.00.
