(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Section continues to investigate two incidents from the past weekend.
On November 22, 2013 police responded to a shooting that occurred inside a residence in the 300 block of Murray Street where a 22 year old male victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
On November 23, 2013 police responded to a shooting where six (6) gunshots were fired into a residence in the 1800 block of Summerfields Crescent. No injuries were reported.
The Guns and Gangs Section has been able to confirm that the two incidents are not linked, they are not gang related, and that they were not random.
