(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit continues its investigation of incidents in the Ritchie street area. The police investigation has determined that the assaults and the shooting are two separate incidents.
It was found that the shooting occurred approximately 40 minutes prior to the assaults and that the participants in the assaults are not involved in the shooting.
The Guns and Gangs Unit is investigating both incidents.
