SERIOUS CRASH ON PERTH LINE 139 WEST OF ST.MARYS
(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday April 30, 2012 shortly before 10:30 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a serious single motor vehicle crash on Perth Road 139 between Whalen Line and Line 2.
Investigation revealed that a southbound Chrysler 300 left the roadway (Perth Road 139) crossed a field west of the roadway and struck two trees. The single male occupant was extricated from the vehicle by the Granton Fire Department and was transported by air ambulance to London Health Sciences with undetermined injuries.
Perth Road 139 between Whalen Line and Line 4 will remain closed until the middle of the afternoon to allow for investigation of the crash by the Western Region OPP Technical Traffic Investigation Unit and for the safe removal of the vehicle and debris.
