As previously reported, around 10:30 a.m. this morning, police responded to a stabbing at Tim Hortons on Talbot Street West in Blenheim.
A 24-year-old Blenheim man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention. He has been listed in stable condition.
A 21-year-old Blenheim man was taken into custody at a local business after leaving the scene.
The incident remains under investigation however police believe that this was not a random act of violence.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to thank the employees at Tim Hortons and citizens in the area for their co-operation and assistance this morning.
