(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit is investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning in the 1700 block of Hazeldean Road. At this time the Robbery Unit is seeking to identify two suspects.
They are described as:
1. Male, dark complexion, 30 years old, 250-300 lbs, wearing a “hoodie†over his head and a scarf around his nose and mouth, sunglasses, dark coloured pants and jacket, dark running shoes
2. Caucasian male, wearing a grey “hoodie†sweater with hood over his head, scarf covering the lower portion of his face, sunglasses, gloves, grey pants and white shoes
The suspects forcibly entered the bank before opening time and encountered a number of bank employees inside. No other people or agency was targeted in the robbery.
The investigation is ongoing.
