UPDATE ON SERIOUS CRASH ON PERTH LINE 39 WEST OF ST.MARYS
(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Monday April 30, 2012 shortly before 10:30 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a serious single motor vehicle crash on Perth Road 139 between Whalen Line and Line 2.
Investigation revealed that a southbound Chrysler 300 left the roadway (Perth Road 139) at Line 2, crossed a field west of the roadway and struck two trees. The driver, a 40 year old male from London was extricated from the vehicle by the Granton Fire Department and was transported by air ambulance to London Health Sciences with non life threatening injuries. Perth Road 139 between Whalen Line and Line 4 will be re-opened at 3:45 p.m.
