As previously released, on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 shortly before midnight, the man attended an apartment complex in Chatham and gained entry into the building through a woman that he had previous telephone contact with. The man was in the apartment building for a very short period of time, during which time he assaulted the woman. She did not sustain any injuries as a result of the assault.
This morning, police released photographs of the man hoping that a member of the public may recognize him.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance. The man has been identified and arrested.
