(WALKERTON, ON) – On November 25, 2014, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) asked for public assistance in locating a man wanted by police on outstanding arrest warrants in relation to driving offences, firearms offences and property crimes.
During the afternoon of November 25, 2014, police received a tip that the wanted man was at an address along Concession 2 in Culross Township. Members of the South Bruce OPP, OPP West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine Unit (K9) searched the area with negative results.
On November 25, 2014 at 7:05 pm, the South Bruce OPP was called to an address in the 400 block of Durham Street east in Walkerton to investigate another sighting of the suspect. Officers arrived to locate the man and he was taken into custody without incident.
The accused, 27 year old Kent WALL of Bruce Township, is charged with 2 counts of flight from police, dangerous operation, careless storage of a firearm, 3 counts of fail to comply with recognizance, possess a controlled substance, race a motor vehicle, possess stolen property, possess a restricted firearm and possess restricted ammunition. He has been held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing scheduled for November 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
