Update – John Derek Topor – Mischief, Theft, Stolen Property, Drive While Disqualified, Breach Probation

As a result of the incident on July 16, 2010 and further investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained by the Huron OPP for the male involved in this incident. The male suspect was arrested by the Bracebridge OPP on July 21st after a similar incident in their location and is facing multiple charges in that jurisdiction. He remains in custody in the Penetanguishene area and will be brought to Huron County after his court action is complete in order to answer to his charges here.

John Derek TOPOR (24) of Central Huron has been charged with two counts of Flight from Police, two counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, two counts of Mischief Under $5,000, one count of Theft Under $5,000, one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, one count of Drive While Disqualified and one count of Breach Probation. The investigation remains ongoing and further charges may be pending. His court date in Huron County is not yet known. LP10187896
