On Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 7:57 p.m., the London Police Service responded to a 911 call from the Travelodge Hotel at 800 Exeter Road. Upon arrival, police discovered the body of a deceased male.
20-year-old James McCullough of Orangeville, Ontario has been charged with one count of second degree murder and one count of committing an indignity to a human body.
The investigation is ongoing and we remain at the scene today.
The victim has been identified and his family notified. We are currently working with the victim’s family during this difficult time and want to ensure all family members have been notified before publicly identifying the victim.
More information will be released about the victim’s identity, the manner of death, and the indignity to a human body offence, once all family members have been notified and the post mortem examination is complete.
