(Wellington North Township, ON) – Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have identified the female passenger that died in hospital shortly after being involved in a head-on collision on County Road 14, yesterday morning.
61 year old Virginia Wiley of Meaford was a passenger in a Hyundai Santa Fe that collided head-on with a Mazda 3.
The investigation is still on-going at this time.
The Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have witnessed this collision to please call 1-888-310-1122. Police are also asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing German Shepard mix-breed dog that answers to the name of Sidney. The dog was in one of the vehicles involved and fled the scene following the collision.
