Update: First Degree Murder charges laid in Lacasse Avenue Homicide

(Ottawa)— Major Crime investigators have also charged Candy LOCEY 40 years old, of Ottawa with First degree murder following the shooting death of Dady Junior Jean.

She appeared in court today.

First Degree Murder charges laid in Lacasse Avenue Homicide

(Ottawa)— Major Crime investigators have charged Johnnie-Dean LOCEY-DEROCHIE, 23 years old and Dominique CHRETIEN, 20 years old, both from Ottawa with First degree murder following the shooting death of Dady Junior Jean, 41 years old, also of Ottawa.

A third person has been arrested and will appear in court on November 26th. The name will not be released by Ottawa Police prior to the court appearance.

The November 14th murder was the seventh homicide in Ottawa in 2015.

Arrests Made in Vanier Homicide

(Ottawa)— The Ottawa Police Service Major Crime Section has arrested 2 males in connection with the murder that occurred on the 300 block of Lacasse Ave. at approximately 20:33 hrs on the 14th of November, 2015. The victim was identified as 41 year old Dady Jean of Vanier.

Homicide on Lacasse Avenue

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting death that occurred on the 300 block of Lacasse Ave. at approximately 20:33 hrs on the 14th of November, 2015. One male victim was transported to hospital and later pronounced dead. The identity of the victim will not be released at this time. The Major Crime Section is taking carriage of this investigation.

No further details will be released at this time.
