Update: Deceased Identified in Fatal Collision

Deceased Persons Identified

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers along with Seaforth Fire Department members and Huron County Paramedics responded to a two vehicle crash this morning just before 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Perth Road 180 and Bridge Road.

Officers have determined an International feed truck travelling southbound on Perth Road 180 collided with a Buick Rendezvous that was travelling westbound on Line 39/Bridge Road.

The two occupants in the Buick Rendezvous were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Buick has been identified as 52 year old Brian CRAWFORD from Stratford. Also deceased is passenger Bradley CRAWFORD, 29 years of age from Stratford. A post-mortem examination will be completed on the driver at London Health Sciences Centre.

The driver of the feed truck, a 42 year old male from Brodhagen was transported to Stratford General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers from the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team have determined the driver of the Rendezvous failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection.

The roadway is now open.
