(BAYFIELD, ON) Huron Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue their search for a 53 year old Atwood man that disappeared yesterday after jumping into Lake Huron from a pleasure craft south of Bayfield.
The second victim, a 62 year old man from North Perth who was pulled from the water, remains in stable condition in hospital in Goderich.
Note Correction: It was initially reported that he was taken to hospital in Clinton for treatment.
Presently, there are three OPP vessels, an OPP helicopter and the Provincial Underwater Search and Recovery Unit at the scene. Two ATV’s are being used to search the shoreline.
The names of the victims are being withheld at this time.
