Update: Artist’s rendering of Heron Park area Sexual assault suspect

(Ottawa) The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section is seeking public assistance to identify the man responsible for the Sexual assault in the Heron Park area on October 7, 2013 and is releasing an artist rendering resembling the suspect.

The male suspect has been described as approximately 6’ tall (183cm), medium to athletic build short dark hair, in his 20’s, would have been wearing some type of dark colored sweatshirt and jeans at the time.

“As with any composite drawings it is important to remember that they are not portraits of the suspect,” said S/Sgt. Angela McDade of the Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section. “The drawing encompasses various features of the subject as described by the person providing the description. The artist’s rendering is being released to prompt potential witnesses to come forward with information if they have encountered someone who they believe fits the description.”
