The Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police OPP are reporting at 1:10 pm all roads on the Bruce Peninsula are closed due to the extremely treacherous road and weather conditions.
Bruce Peninsula OPP are urging motorists to refrain from unnecessary travel at this time, the closures are in effect due to high winds, blowing snow and poor to no visibility.
The penalty for driving on a closed highway is a $110 fine and 3 demerit points, but the consequences can be far worse if you become involved in a collision, or stranded, in a white out
Bruce Peninsula OPP are monitoring the unstable weather conditions today and reminding motorists to still use extreme caution when travelling roads due to poor visibility, blowing and drifting snow.
