Update 3: Charges following incident at local school

(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Guns & Gangs Unit has charged a 50 year old Ottawa man in connection to the incident at D.Roy Kennedy Public School.

Gary BERTRAND has been charged with the following:

Possess weapon dangerous to public peace

Carry concealed weapon

Common nuisance/Endanger lives or safety of public

Mischief

Make false fire alarm

BERTRAND is scheduled to appear in court during the first week of November.
