On the 12th of March 2015 members of the Barrie Police Service Uniform Patrol Division were called to investigate a harassment/bail violations. Police received information that a female was had been harassing her ex-boyfriend for the last week by texting him. Further investigation that the female was bound by court imposed conditions not to communicate with him. The female was located and arrested and later released on a Promise to Appear.
