On May 14th 2015 at 9:35am, Waterloo Regional Police attended the area of Peel St, New Hamburg, after receiving a report of a male in an agitated state trespassing at a local business. The male was located at the rear of a building on Peel St. and was not cooperative with police. He was arrested and transported to Grand River Hospital for assessment. He was later released from hospital and transported to Central Division to be held for a show cause bail hearing. A 26 year old Kitchener male is charged with Failing to Leave a Premise, Obstructing Police, and Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest.
