(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) Between Thursday September 4th and Sunday September 7th, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were contacted by two Mitchell residents who reported their unlocked vehicles entered.
Sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday September 4th and 6:40 a.m. Friday September 5th a pickup truck was entered on George St. The interior of the vehicle was ransacked and lose change, ownership and insurance documents, as well as a Dodge Ram manual were stolen from inside.
On Saturday September 6th, between 1 and 2 p.m. a car was left parked on Coulton Drive in Mitchell with the doors unlocked and the windows down. Upon returning to the vehicle, the owner discovered that a pair of “Sun Dog†sunglasses, a Swiss Chalet gift card, a Samsung A660 cell phone, and a black Canon Power-shot Camera were removed from inside.
