(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Tuesday January 10, 2012 before 5 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a theft of pickup truck from a rural property along Road 130 (just south of where the first pickup truck was recovered).
Investigation revealed that the owner of the stolen pickup truck had left the vehicle unlocked with the keys inside. The pickup truck is a GMC Sierra, white in colour with a tan stripe along the bottom of the vehicle. The truck has a white fibreglass tonneau cover over the box and attached Ontario licence plates bearing 5493XZ.
Anyone having knowledge of these thefts, or who may have seen a suspicious person along Hwy 8 west of Mitchell or along Road 130 near Brunner is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
