Unlocked Pickup Truck With Keys In Stolen Seaforth

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the overnight theft of a pickup truck stolen from a residence located on Coleman Street in Seaforth. Sometime between 1:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on September 3, 2015 someone entered onto the property and entered into an unlocked Chevrolet Silverado. Conveniently, the ignition key for the truck was left inside a cup holder allowing the thief the opportunity to simply start up the truck and drive away.

Also stolen were an assortment of tools that included a small, blue, pressure washer and two Porter-Cable red and grey power drills. These items were stored inside the truck cab and cargo box.

The stolen pickup is described as a 2003, white Chevrolet Silverado with a burgundy topper and aluminum side steps.
