On December 2, 2014, at approx. 1:08 am a male resident of an apartment building in the 200 block of Victoria St. S, Kitchener, answered a knock at his door and saw a male unknown to him in the hallway. After a brief conversation, the male assaulted the resident, causing moderate injuries. The victim sought treatment at the hospital. The assailant then fled the building. Police responded and searched the area. The investigation is continuing into the circumstances.
