On July 25, 2015 at 6:30 am., Waterloo Regional Police officers responded to a report of a break and enter into an underground parking garage on McGee Ave in Kitchener. Sometime in the early morning hours on July 25, 2015, unknown suspects entered the underground parking garage and accessed twenty three cars by smashing windows to gain entry. There were reports of other smashed windows in the same neighbourhood including several other vehicles, an elementary school and a small business. Waterloo Regional Police would like to remind residents of apartment buildings to be aware of who you let into your secure buildings and avoid leaving valuable items unattended in your vehicle.
