On March 19, 2016 at 12:15 a.m., the Guelph Police received the complaint of a possible impaired driver on Edinburgh Road South. Police located the vehicle travelling on Speedvale Avenue West and a traffic stop was conducted. The male driver was spoken too, it was determined he had been drinking alcohol and he was arrested. The driver was taken to the Guelph Police station where he refused to provide a sample of his breath.
Uche Uduma, 29 years of Guelph has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and refuse to provide breath sample. He will appear in court on April 8, 2016.
