The Chatham-Kent police have arrested two youths in connection with a break and enter in Blenheim.
Shortly after 1:00 a.m. this morning, a business on Chatham Street South was broken into. Two unknown suspect(s) were observed smashing out the front door window and entering the business wearing disguises. The suspect(s) exited with two bottles of pop. Total theft was $5.00. Damage to the door was about $500.
Through investigation, the suspect(s) were identified. At 3:45 a.m. officers located the youths and they were arrested.
A 16-year-old Blenheim youth has been charged break and enter and wearing a disguise with intent. He has been held pending a bail hearing. A 12-year-old Harwich Township youth has been charged with break and enter and wearing a disguise with intent. He has been released pending a future court date.
