(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section (SACA) has charged a North Bay man following an investigation into allegations of sexual assaults.
In September of 2015, an investigation was commenced by SACA into allegations of adult females being drugged and sexually assaulted. Two incidents occurred in an apartment located near the intersection of Bronson Avenue and Nepean Street, in Ottawa, over the past three years.
Michael ANDREYECHEN, 41 years old, of North Bay is charged with:
Two counts of Sexual Assault
Two counts of Administer a Noxious Substance
Two counts of Secretly Record Person for Sexual Purpose
He is scheduled to appear in court on November 3, 2015. SACA investigators are concerned that there could be other victims.
No further details will be released about the incidents in order to protect the identity of the victims.
