On Thursday July 30, 2015 at 7:04 a.m., a two vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Fischer-Hallman Rd and Plains Rd. in the City of Kitchener between a Mercedes car and Ford pickup. The two drivers; a 45 yr. old Kitchener area man and a 20 yr. old London area man were both transported to hospital with minimal injuries and released. Both vehicles were destroyed as a result of the collision. Kitchener Hydro was required to replace a damaged Hydro pole. The London area man was charged with disobey stop sign as a result of the investigation.
