Two Vehicle Collision With Injuries

A two vehicle collision in the central part of the city sent one driver to hospital with minor injuries.
On Monday 26 August, 2013 at approximately 3:55pm a 2007 Hyundai was travelling southbound on Edinburgh Road South.
As it entered the intersection of Edinburgh Rd and Bristol Street it struck a 2010 Ford Escape that was turning left from northbound Edinburgh Road to westbound Bristol Street.
Both vehicles sustained extensive damage as a result of this collision.
A 33 year old male from Rockwood (the driver of the Hyundai) was transported to Guelph General Hospital by Guelph Wellington Paramedics suffering from a back injury.

A 60 year old female from the Toronto area (the driver of the Ford) was charged with Turn Not in Safety.
Guelph Police are seeking witnesses to this collision, and specifically would like to speak to the driver of a large green waste disposal truck that was directly behind the Hyundai at the time of the collision.
