POLICE CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION ON BRUCE ROAD 14
(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On Sunday, July 21, 2013 at approximately 7:35 p.m., Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle collision on Bruce Road 14 at Silver Lake Road, in South Bruce Peninsula.
Police arrived on scene to find a 2010 Dodge Journey and a 2004 Dodge Durango heavily damaged as a result of the collision.
The driver of the Dodge Journey, a 37 year old female from Milton, Ontario, and 5 passengers, three adults and two children, all received minor injuries.
The driver of the Dodge Durango, a 33 year old male from Tara, Ontario, and a 1 year old female passenger were not injured. A second passenger, a 32 year old female (pregnant), was taken to hospital as a precaution, and was later released.
The South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department and the Bruce County Emergency Services (EMS) assisted at the scene.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit was called to assist with the investigation.
The investigation continues.
