Two Vehicle Collision

On Monday April 20, 2015 at approximately 8:15 a.m., a Ford Taurus was travelling northbound on Hespeler Rd, towards Kossuth Rd, in the city of Cambridge. The vehicle crossed the centre dividing line and entered the southbound lane striking a truck travelling southbound on Hespeler Rd. The collision caused significant damage to both vehicles. The driver of the Ford Taurus, a 54 year old Cambridge male, had to be extricated from the vehicle by Cambridge Fire Department, and was taken to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. He sustained non life threatening injuries. The driver was charged with failing to drive in a marked lane under the Highway Traffic Act.
