On June 13th at approximately 5 pm,officers responded to 2 suspicious males in the rear lot off of Arthur St and located two males and a vehicle. Police allege that one male was found to be breaching his recognizance and took off running. He was arrested following a short foot pursuit and held for bail hearing. Police further alleged that the other male had stolen plates in his vehicle and involved with several theft investigations outside the region. As well, a quantity of drugs, a BB gun and a large knife were recovered. A 24 year old man from Mitchell, and a 28 year old Elmira man have been charged with Breach Recognizance, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, and Resisting Arrest.
