On Saturday September 11, 2010 shortly before 10 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer while conducting radar patrol locked a car on radar at 163 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Hwy. 7 south of St.Marys. The 18 year old male driver from the Municipality of West Perth was charged with racing. His received an immediate 7-day licence suspension and 7-day vehicle impoundment.
On Sunday September 12, 2010 shortly after 10 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer locked a speeding car on radar at 142 km/h in an 80 km/h zone on Hwy 23 north of Kirkton. The 23 year old male driver from London was charged with racing. His licence was suspended for seven days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
