The London Police Service is charging four London men after seizing more than $15,000 worth of drugs and cash.
On January 4, 2014, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on Baseline Road West and another warrant at a residence on St. George Street.
Seized were the following:
152 grams of crystal methamphetamine – $15,200
1 gram of crack cocaine – $100
5 x 18mg Hydromorphone pills – $150
1 x 100mcg Fentanyl patch – $200
Total Drugs Seized: $15,450
Total Cash Seized: $506.80
As a result of the investigation, the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act charges are being laid:
– David Lindsay, 48 years old, has been charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2);
– David Rikhtegarzdeh, 33 years old, has been charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2); and one count of possession of a Schedule I substance, contrary to section 4(1);
– Lucas Vondette, 30 years old, has been charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2); and
– Lee Simpson, 31 years old, will be charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2). A warrant for the arrest of Lee Simpson has been applied for, as he was not located.
