On November 25, 2015 at 6:05 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Harvard Road and Youngman Drive for the report of two pedestrians struck by a motor vehicle. It is alleged that the motor vehicle turned from Harvard onto Youngman and struck the two pedestrians as they walked within the marked cross walk. An 18-year-old Guelph female suffered non-life threatening injuries to her head and was transported to Guelph General Hospital for observation. A 19-year-old Toronto male, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The occupants of the motor vehicle were not injured.
The driver, a 59-year-old Kitchener man, has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with fail to yield to pedestrian.

Bicycle stop leads to arrest
On November 25, 2015 at 3:40 p.m., the Guelph Police stopped a male riding a bicycle on the sidewalk on Macdonell Street. Investigation determined that the bike had been reported stolen on November 10, 2015. The male was arrested. A search subsequent to his arrest discovered a small quantity of Crystal Meth.
A 24-year-old Guelph male has been charged with possession of stolen property, breach of probation, breach OIC undertaking and possession of a controlled substance. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on November 26, 2015.
Break and enter
On November 25, 2015 at 9:30 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Southgate Drive business to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) did not gain access to the business area but did cause damage to the property.

Female with knife arrested
On November 25, 2015 at 12:36 p.m., the Guelph Police observed a female in the police parking lot brandishing a kitchen knife. Police were able to arrest her without incident.
A 58-year-old Guelph female has been charged with weapons dangerous. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on November 26, 2015.
Theft from cars
On November 25, 2015 the Guelph Police received four reports from Guelph residents about thefts from their cars. The locations were Cardigan Street, Yarmouth Street, Starwood Drive and Starview Crescent.
This crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible.
