(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating two separate multi-vehicle collisions that have taken place very close to each other on Huron Road (Highway 8) east of Seaforth.
Huron OPP members along with Huron East Fire Department and Huron County EMS personnel were dispatched to the scene of the collisions just after 8:00 a.m. this morning.
Two separate collisions have occurred involving a total of five motor vehicles. One of the motor vehicles involved is a tractor-trailer.
Some of the occupants have sustained non-life threatening injuries and have been transported to hospital.
Huron Road is currently closed at Hensall Road to the west and Maple Line to the east.
