(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service responded to a stabbing incident that occurred on October 21st, 2015, at approximately 12:03 am, in the 2000 block of Cedarwood Drive.
East patrol officers responded and two adult males were arrested and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The East District Investigation Unit has subsequently charged, Mohamud HUSSEIN, 25 years of Ottawa. He is facing charges of;
Aggravated Assault
Assault with a Weapon
Assault Police with Intent to Resist
Possession Weapons Dangerous
Breach Recognizance x2.
HUSSEIN will appear in court this morning.
Also charged is, Mohamed ISMAIL, 20 years of Ottawa. He is facing charges of;
Assault Cause Bodily Harm
Assault with a Weapon
ISMAIL will appear in court on November 24th, 2015.
