On December 18, 2014 at approximately 3:53am two males approached a taxi cab while it was picking up a fare on Union St E in the city of Waterloo. The males attempted to rob the cab driver while pointing an object resembling a hand gun. The males were scared off and left the area before obtaining anything . Both males were last seen running down Union St E toward Lucan Ave. No one was injured in the incident.
