Two From Palmerston Arrested In Listowel With Fake/Stolen IDs – Names Released

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Wednesday July 13, 2016, around 8 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on general patrol in Listowel conducted a traffic stop on a rental cube van with a male driver and a female passenger at an Inkerman St West Address.

The male driver was found to be suspended from driving. The male was arrested and a subsequent search located a large number of fake or stolen personal identification cards belonging to other persons in the possession of the driver and passenger.

As a result 34-year-old Ryan W. GREEN of Palmerston and 23-year-old Kate E. LACE of Palmerston face the following Criminal Code of Canada charges:

Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 X21

Identity theft – obtain or possess another persons identity information X10

Counterfeiting mark – possess X11

Identity documents X7

In addition Kate E. LACE also faces two charges of “fail to comply with probation X2

Both accused remain in custody and are to appear at Stratford Bail Court on Thursday July 14, 2016 to determine future court appearances where they will answer to the charges.
