(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Thursday June 3rd, a Perth County OPP officer on patrol observed two vehicles travelling together through Listowel. A short time later both vehicles were stopped along Perth Line 86 west of Listowel.
The officer spoke to the male drivers and detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage being emitted from their breath. The drivers were given a roadside breath test and both registered a blood alcohol concentration between .05 and .08.
A 24 year old male from Kincardine and a 21 year old male from Ripley were each served 3 day drivers licence suspensions. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
