Two Charged With Unnecessary Noise – Spinning Tires

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Tuesday evening April 05, 2011 shortly before 8 p.m., a Perth County OPP officer in Listowel was in the area of Wallace Ave. N. near McKenzie St. E. when he observed two vehicles pulling out of a business parking lot in an aggressive manner.
The vehicles were both 2 door white cars of the same make and age. They were both spinning their tires and making unnecessary noise as they were exiting the business parking lot onto the roadway.
Both vehicles were stopped and the drivers, 29 year old male from Palmerston and a 27 year old male from Ripley were charged with “Unnecessary noise” under the Highway Traffic Act.
