(CENTRAL HURON, ON) On Friday, December 9, 2011 at approximately 11:00 p.m. Huron OPP officers were conducting a R.I.D.E check on Walker Street in Central Huron when they observed a vehicle attempt to evade the checkpoint.
Officers followed and stopped the driver of a Chevrolet vehicle and found two violations.
A young male driver from Huron East was charged with Fail to Surrender Insurance Card contrary to section 3(1) Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. As well, a young male passenger also from Huron East was charged with Person Under 19 years have liquor contrary to section 30(8) Liquor Licence Act.
