Just after midnight, Saturday April 16 2016, police were conducting speed enforcement on Hespler Road, Cambridge. Police observed two parties engage in a street race where both vehicles were clocked at speeds in excess of 125 km/h. Police identified and stopped both vehicles and have charged a 33 year old Kitchener male and a 32 year old Cambridge male under the street racing. Both drivers licences and vehicles, a Mitsubishi Lancer and a Subaru WRX were seized for 7 days.
