(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On January 21st, 2011 at 1:00 pm, the South Bruce OPP was called to a 2 vehicle crash on County Road 1 in Greenock Township. Officers arrived to find a Chrysler Intrepid and Ford Escape had been travelling the same direction on County Road 1 in a winter storm causing very poor visibility. The Escape struck the Intrepid causing minor damage. The driver of the Escape, 33 year old Paul DOW of Durham has been charged with Use plate not authorized for vehicle. The owner of the Escape, 45 year old Marc MCGIBBON of Saugeen Township has been charged with Owner permit motor vehicle to be operated without insurance. Both men are scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on February 22nd, 2011 to answer to the charges.
