(ST.MARYS, ON) Between Saturday January 24, 2015, and Tuesday January 27, 2015, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have located two abandoned bicycles in St.Marys.

The bikes are in good condition and are currently being stored by the OPP. Anyone who may have had their bike stolen, or is if you are missing a bicycle, please contact the Perth County OPP and provide us with a serial number or a detailed description of the bike.

Although it is winter, some avid bicyclist are still riding their bikes. These individuals are reminded to lock their bicycles to solid objects when leaving them in public places. Locking sheds and garages where bicycles are stored will also make it less desirable for bicycle thieves. Copy down your bicycle serial number and description, this will assist in identifying and possibly returning the bike to you.

Anyone having information about property theft is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000
