(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On November 19 and November 21, 2016, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended No Frills grocery store located on Hwy. 6 & 21 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs in response to thefts that had occurred.
On November 19th, 26-year old Leah MONCKTON, of the Township of Chatsworth, was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.00 – shoplifting and possession of stolen property under $5000.00 after she failed to pay for items. She had provided a false identity to police and, as a result, was also charged with Personation with Intent and Breach of Probation. She was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody pending a video bail scheduled for November 30, 2016.
On November 21st, 28-year old Cassandra PANCZAK, of Owen Sound, was arrested and charged with theft under $5000.00 – shoplifting after she failed to pay for items in her possession. She is scheduled to appear in court on January 26, 2017.
