Two Arrested For Series Of Thefts In Chatsworth – Names Released

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – As a result of an on-going investigation into a series of thefts from a rural property on Sideroad 5 in the Township of Chatsworth, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two men in connection to these crimes.

The thefts occurred between January 1, 2015 and March 30, 2016. The stolen property included farm equipment, gasoline, fencing and scrap metal.

29-year old Andrew John HAUG of the Municipality of West Grey is charged with theft under $5000 (x3) and possession of property obtained by crime (x3).

51-year old Brian John MILES of the Township of Chatsworth is charged with theft under $5000 (x2) and possession of property obtained by crime (x2).

Both men are scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on May 19, 2016.
