On Saturday September 24, 2016 at approximately 1:45 a.m., the London Police Service responded to the area of Southdale Rd E and Dulaney Dr for a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles and a hydro pole. The occupant(s) of one of the vehicles fled the scene. The licence plate was obtained and it was subsequently determined that the vehicle had previously been reported stolen.
Multiple officers were detailed to investigate/ search the area for the occupant(s) of the stolen vehicle.
An adult female from the other vehicle involved was transported to hospital by ambulance for non life threatening injuries.
Two males were located by police in the surrounding area and taken into custody.
Damage for the two vehicles involved, the hydro pole, and transformer is estimated at $35,000.
The London Police General Investigation Section and Traffic Management Unit is continuing the investigation.
